In 2012 we launched an experimental 3 part remix series. Each record was released on 10″ vinyl with 2 colour screen print sleeve and digital formats. The idea behind the series was to blend the current footwork and juke aesthetic into drum and bass and jungle and to present it in a bespoke hand finished package designed and created by Utile Creative.

I was asked by the guys at Sun And Bass to do a mix for their new podcast series. After spending a week at the festival in Sardinia last summer and absolutely loving it I willingly obliged.
After completing the mix I realised it contains music from every decade since the 60s with the exception of the 80s. That’s 50 years worth of music, pretty crazy when you think about it.
Back in October 2011 I took a trip to Ekaterinburg in Russia. It took ages to get there and I flew through 3 time zones. The whole thing was a mad trip with not much sleep but it was so worth it, such fun! Massive thanks to Rostislav and the Special Request guys. Ekaterinburg rocks! Ridiculously cheap cigarettes too. I captured some stuff on my phone which got edited into this . . .

According to my friends, some of my Bad Habits are ‘my sarcasm’, ‘touching their computer screen when I point at things’ and ‘sometimes wearing a hat when cooking in the kitchen (?!)’. I have many more but I’m gonna keep them to myself for now as this is about you not me…
