Astrophonica met Foundation X last weekend in Wolverhampton for a marathon session of pure vibes. Foundation X is a label set up by Wolverhampton bad man Skitty and is set to do big things on the underground, taking it back to the roots.
In between BBQ Baby Chicken, Wolverhampton Wanderers wonder-goals (Fracture is an avid fan) and pints of Banks’s Bitter we managed to spend a lot of time in the studio and get something done that we are all very excited about.

First of all, a massive big up to Beau Thomas as ever. He’s cut every Astrophonica release so far and we think you’ll agree they sound damn fine! We have exclusive full artwork copies available now in the shop. These are exclusive to the site and not available anywhere else.
After some problems with the first batch of Test Presses we are happy to announce that APHA003 Dust Ball / The Trunk is now in manufacture and should be with us very soon. We are very proud to have this record 100% manufactured in the UK. Everything from concept, to composition, to mastering, to label printing, to pressing. The record is being manufactured at The Vinyl Factory using ex-EMI records equipment, so who knows what classic records have been on the same press?!
